Judging by my site stats, it seems that a lot of people are coming here searching for information on electric bikes. It should be noted that this blog was more intended to let me store information that I learned, mostly relating to web development and computers in general. I am not an expert in e-bike systems by any stretch of the imagination. However below I have compiled a list of resources that I so far have found helpful, in hopes that it helps others. Congratulations on taking steps towards a clean and healthy mode of transportation, I hope you have a good experience, and please feel free to leave comments if you build one of these systems, have something to add to the list, or simply find that this list has helped you.

I thought this was a neat enough idea to put up here, it’s a “mobile electric solar power station” attached to the back of a electric scooter. Neat idea.

This is an really nice looking system, also make note of the three links under “Related:” (Directly beneath the photo).

Great site with a lot of do it yourself bicycle repair tips. Doesn’t really have anything to do with e-bikes, however it does contain a good deal of information about bicycle mechanics in general which might serve useful.

A bit of interesting information, I didn’t really have time to look at it much, but it looks promising.
Four weird projects, one is this bike which, while rated as high in speed, is rather clunky and ugly, another similar looking bike, a bicycle power generator, and a “Bat and Rat Detector”. All of these plans are for sale. Personally I am linking to this in case it helps someone, but I wouldn’t buy their plans simply because of the end result — that battery and motor look horrible.
Some really nice looking bike designs and kits from Taiwan

“DINAMOTOR is an innovative electronic system patented by Ing. Vincenzo Fittipaldi and Geom. Carlo Risso which may have multiple applications. ” No time to check it out now.
Interesting company based in Hong Kong.
Kind of ugly looking e-bikes for sale, or are they e-scooters?
Sales of electric scooters, bikes, and quads! Electric ATV’s, interesting idea.
I will add more to the comments section as I find them, I encourage you to do the same.
I dd find your resources helpful and for passing along such a good service a sincere thank you!
